On Wednesday, July 31st, Zion Williams, the No. 1 pick of the 2019 NBA Draft, signed a multiyear partnership with NBA 2K.
Williamson joins a list of big NBA names like Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, James Harden, Shaquille O’Neal, LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Anthony Davis and Dwyane Wade (NBA 2K20 cover stars) that have represented NBA 2K over the past two decades.

The deal includes the rookie's appearances at various game initiatives, consumer events, brand creative, and social activations.

“I’m excited to officially join Team 2K and be a part of this global phenomenon, where people around the world can play as me," Zion said. "I’m ready to put my imprint on basketball culture and be a part of the team that represents what’s next in the sport.”

In 2K20, which launches worldwide on September 6, 2019, Williamson has a rating of 81, the highest rookie rating in the game since John Wall in 2011.
