The veteran Los Angeles Lakers, without LeBron James, survived plenty of fourth-quarter drama including a Rajon Rondo ejection and multiple late technicals to defeat the Charlotte Hornets in overtime.
Carmelo Anthony exploded for 29 points off the bench, Russell Westbrook recorded a triple-double with 17 points, 14 assists, 12 rebounds while Anthony Davis stuffed the stat sheet with 32 points, 12 rebounds, five blocks, four assists and three steals.
These contributions helped the Lakers overcome LaMelo Ball's triple-double of 25 points, 15 rebounds and 11 assists.
