NBA Playoffs 2021: Giannis Antetokounmpo leaves Game 4 with left knee injury image

The Milwaukee Bucks have suffered a major blow in Game 4, with superstar big man Giannis Antetokounmpo suffering a left knee injury.

Competing for a ball near the rim with Hawks center Clint Capela, Antetokounmpo landed on his left leg, appearing to suffer a significant hyperextension of the knee.

The 2-time MVP remained on the floor for several minutes holding his knee before being helped back to the locker room. The team later ruled him out for the remainder of Game 4.

He briefly returned to the bench with a noticeable limp, before once again returning to the locker room.

Antetokounmpo was listed on the injury report with a left calf issue, but was ultimately cleared to play. He tallied 14 points, eight rebounds and three assists in 24 minutes before the injury was sustained.

Further updates to come.
