NBA Playoffs 2019: Milwaukee Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo earns Player of the Day image

Giannis Antetokounmpo


Team Result: Bucks 123, Celtics 102

Stat line: 29 points (7-16 FG, 2-4 3PT, 13-18 FT), 10 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, 1 block.

By his standards, the Greek Freak didn't have a great Game 1 against the Boston Celtics. 

Game 2, however, he ensured he was back with his all-round impact. He impacted the game in all stat categories. 

He was a huge catalyst in the Bucks outscoring Celtics 39-18 in the third quarter as he contributed 15 of his 29 in the quarter.

Honourable mentions

Draymond Green

Team Result: Warriors 115, Rockets 109

Stat line: 15 points (6-10 FG, 0-2 3PT, 3-3 FT), 12 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals.

The Warriors are 27-0 when Draymond Green records a triple-double and although he came mightly close to recording one in Game 2, the Dubs won the game anyway. 

Khris Middleton


 

Team Result: Bucks 123, Celtics 102

Stat line: 28 points (10-18 FG, 7-10 3PT, 1-1 FT), 7 rebounds, 1 assist.

Everybody had a bounce-back for the Bucks. Middleton knocked down 7 3-pointers en route to scoring 28. He joined the company of Hall of Famer Ray Allen as the only Bucks players ever to record 7 3-pointers in a playoff game. 

Kevin Durant


 

Team Result: Warriors 115, Rockets 109

Stat line: 29 points (9-22 FG, 3-6 3PT, 8-10 FT), 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 blocks, 1 assist

With 29 for the night, Durant continued his hot streak and finished as team's highest scorer for the fifth straight game. His 2019 postseason average of 34.3 is the highest of his career.
