The Sacramento Kings are among the oldest franchises in the league.

They joined the National Basketball League (NBL) in 1945 and dominated it by winning the championship their first season. They deflected to the Basketball Association of America in 1948 and a year later, with the merger of the BAA and NBL, became a member of the newly-formed NBA in 1949.

Tiny Archibald - 1

Career averages with the Kings: 25.2 points, 8.1 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 433 games played.

Career highlights with the Kings: 3 x All-Star, 3 x All-NBA First Team, 1972 All-NBA Second Team, 1973 NBA Scoring and Assist Leader, NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team.

Nathanial "Tiny" Archibald is the only player in league history to have led the league in scoring and assists. He achieved that record in 1973 when he was representing the Kansas City–Omaha Kings. 

He spent the first six seasons of his 14-year NBA career with the Kings and was later inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1991. 

Mitch Richmond - 2

Career averages with the Kings: 23.3 points, 4.1 assists, and 3.7 rebounds in 517 games played.

Career highlights with the Kings: 6 x All-Star, 1995 All-Star Game MVP, 3 x All-NBA Second Team, 2 x All-NBA Third Team.

Mitch Richmond was named Rookie of the Year in 1989 as a member of the Golden State Warriors and in 2002, he became an NBA Champion as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers. 

However, the greatest individual seasons of his career came in Sacramento for the Kings. All of his All-Star and All-NBA selections came with the Kings. 

He was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2014. 

Chris Webber - 4

Career averages with the Kings: 23.5 points, 10.6 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.5 blocks in 377 games played.

Career highlights with the Kings: 4 x All-Star, 2001 All-NBA First Team, 2000 All-NBA Third Team, 3 x All-NBA Second Team, 1999 NBA Rebounding leader.

Chris Webber spent seven of his 15 seasons in the NBA with the Kings.

He led the franchise to arguably their greatest five-year run - five straight 50+ win seasons (most in franchise history) and five straight playoffs appearances including four straight Conference Semifinal appearances.

Barring his ROY award and his 1997 All-Star selection, all of the Webber's individual accomplishments came as a member of the Kings. 

Fans - 6

The franchise raised the #6 to the rafters to honour the fans. They are one of only two NBA franchises (Orlando Magic) to have raised a jersey to recognise their fans.

Bob Davies - 11

Career averages with the Kings: 14.3 points and 4.9 assists in 462 games.

Career highlights with the Kings: 1951 NBA Champion, 4 x All-Star, 3 x All-NBA First Team, 1953 All-NBA Second Team, 1949 NBA Assists Leader, 1971 NBA 25th Anniversary Team.

Bob Davies spent the last seven seasons of his playing career with the Rochester Royals (now Sacramento Kings) when they part of the BAA/NBA. He was a member of the franchise's only NBA championship in 1951. 

He was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1970.

Maurice Stokes - 12

Career averages with the Kings: 16.4 points, 17.3 rebounds, and 5.3 assists in 202 games played.

Career highlights with the Kings: 1956 Rookie of the Year, 3 x All-Star, 3 x All-NBA Second Team, 1957 NBA Rebounding leader.

Maurice Stokes played all of his three seasons with the Rochester/Cincinnati Royals. He was named Rookie of the Year for averages of 16.8 points and 16.3 rebounds (led the league). 

In his second season, he finished with 1,256 rebounds (then an NBA record). He is one-half of the Twyman-Stokes duo after which the NBA's Twyman–Stokes Teammate of the Year Award is named. 

He was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006.

Oscar Robertson - 14

Career averages with the Kings: 29.3 points, 10.3 assists, and 8.5 rebounds in 752 games played.

Career highlights with the Kings: 1964 NBA MVP, 1961 NBA Rookie of the Year, 10 x All-Star, 3 x All-Star Game MVP, 9× All-NBA First Team, 1970 All-NBA Second Team, 6 x NBA Assists leader, NBA 35th Anniversary Team, NBA 50th Anniversary Team.

Oscar Robertson is arguably the greatest player in franchise history. 

Playing the first ten seasons of his 14-year career in with the Cincinnati Royals. He has multiple individual accomplishments and recognitions while representing the franchise including being the first player in league history to average a triple-double through the regular season. 

In the 1961-62 season, he averaged 30.8 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 11.4 assists through 79 games. He was the only player to achieve the feat before Russell Westbrook also averaged a triple-double for a season in the 2016-17 campaign and joined Robertson in the club. 

Robertson is a two-time inductee of the Basketball Memorial Hall of Fame - in 1980 for his individual career and in 2010 as a member of the 1960 United States men's Olympic basketball team. 

Peja Stojaković - 16

Career averages with the Kings: 18.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 518 games played. 

Career highlights with the Kings: 2001 Most Improved Player Award, 3 x NBA All-Star, 2004 All-NBA Second Team, 2× NBA 3-Point Shootout champion, 2004 NBA 3-point FG's leader.

Croatian Peja Stojaković played with the Kings for the first eight seasons of his 13-year NBA career. Along with Webber, he was a key member of the Kings' glory run from 2000-2004, especially on the offensive end of the floor. 

Stojaković was known for his shooting. He is a career 40.1% shooter from beyond the arc and has led the league in free-throw percentage twice (2004 - 92.7%; 2008 - 92.9%). 

He is currently with the franchise in the role of Assistant General Manager.

Vlade Divac - 21

Career averages with the Kings: 11.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.2 blocks in 454 games played. 

Career highlights with the Kings: 2001 All-Star.

Currently, serving as the General Manager of the Kings, Divac was another key cog in the Kings' most successful five-year period. 

His lone All-Star selection in 2001 also came during his time with the franchise.

Just this past April, he was voted to be part of the Hall of Fame Class of 2019.

Jack Twyman - 27

Career averages: 19.2 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 823 games played.

Career highlights: 6 x All-Star, 2× All-NBA Second Team.

Jack Twyman spent all of his 11 seasons with the Rochester/Cincinnati Royals (now, the Kings) from 1955 to 1966. 

The other half of the Twyman-Stokes duo after which the NBA's Twyman–Stokes Teammate of the Year Award is named. 

He was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1983. 

Sam Lacey - 44

Career averages with the Kings: 11.1 points, 10.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 1.7 blocks in 888 games played. 

Career highlight with the Kings: 1975 All-Star.

Lacey spent 11 of his first 13 seasons of his career (1970-1983) with the Kings during which his lone All-Star selection came in 1975.
