NBA India Games 2019: Celebrities that graced the historic games at the NSCI Dome in Mumbai image

Both games of the NBA India Games 2019 were played in front of different audiences. 

Game 1 on October 4th was played in front of 3,000 boys and girls from the participating Reliance Foundation Jr. NBA schools in Mumbai while Game 2 on October 5 was open to the public. However, both games brought their fair share of celebrities to the NSCI Dome as the historic event went down. 

Here's a look at the all the celebrities (in no particular order) that attended the Pacers- Kings contests, the first-ever NBA games to be played in India: 

Nav Bhatia

Toronto Raptors' superfan Nav Bhatia was present at nearly all events through the week of NBA India Games  including both games. In fact, he was in India in August to promote the India Games

Priyanka Chopra

The popular acrtress and producer, who partnered with the NBA to promote the games in India , was present with her sister Parineeti Chopra at the second game on October 5th.

Bhuvan Bam

Bhuvan Bam is an Indian comedian and singer. In 2018, he became the first Indian individual YouTube content creator to cross the 10 million subscribers landmark. 

In 2018, he was invited to watch a game in Boston and earlier this year, he was in Charlotte to take in the 2019 All-Star Weekend . In Game 1 of the NBA India Games, he sang the national anthem before the game while in Game 2, he took in the action from the sidelines. 

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja

Basketball fan Anand Ahuja was present at Game 1 with his actress wife Sonam Kapoor.

Rannvijay Singh

NBA India ambassador and former Indian college basketball player Rannvijay Singh was present at both games with his wife. 

Satnam Singh Bhamara

The popular Indian basketball player, who played a huge role in spreading the sport and the league in India especially over the past few years, was also present at the historic event. 

Satnam was drafted 52nd overall by the Dallas Mavericks in the 2015 Draft becoming the first Indian ever to be drafted in to the NBA.  

Malaika Arora and John Abraham

Malaika Arora, the model-actress was present at Game 1 on October 4th. So was actor, producer John Abraham with his wife.  

Russell Peters

Melvin Louis

Popular dancer and choreagrapher was also in attendance at the NBA India Games. He was courtside for Game 2 on October 5th. 

Leander Paes

18-time Grand Slam Champion and Indian tennis superstar Leander Paes was courtside as well for Game 2.

Actors Rahul Bose and Saiyami Kher were seated courtside on October 4th. Earlier in the year, Kher was at a Warriors game at the Oracle Arena

Last but certainly not the least the honourable Minister of State (Independent Charge) Youth Affairs & Sports Kiren Rijiju. 

Prior to Game 2, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver handed the ball to Rijiju to mark the start of the final game of the NBA India Games.
