NBA Free Agency 2019: Willie Cauley-Stein reportedly agrees to contract with the Golden State Warriors image

Free agent centre Willie Cauley-Stein has reportedly agreed to a deal with the Golden State Warriors, reported first by The Athletic's Marcus Thompson.

ESPN's Zach Lowe mentioned that Cauley-Stein could make slightly more than the minimum in the deal.

The 6th overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, Cauley-Stein averaged 10.1 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists on 53.4% shooting from the field over four seasons with the Sacramento Kings.

Cauley-Stein will increase the Warriors' depth at the centre spot, joining Kevon Looney, who reportedly agreed to a three-year deal with the Warriors.

Players have been able to negotiate agreements with teams since June 30 but contracts can't be officially signed until July 6.

The Warriors have been among the teams most impacted by free agency

In the wake of Kevin Durant joining the Brooklyn Nets, the Warriors acquired D'Angelo Russell via a sign-and-trade. Within an hour of that deal, the franchise reportedly traded Andre Iguodala and a draft pick to the Memphis Grizzlies.
