Hours after reports of multiple transactions surfaced, Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reported that the team has reached an agreement with Quinn Cook on a two-year deal worth $6 million.

At 26-years-old, Cook is entering his fourth NBA season. Undrafted out of Duke, the point guard spent his time with a number of franchises before finding a home in Golden State. In two seasons with the Warriors, Cook averaged 7.7 points per game while shooting 41.8% from beyond the arc, winning an NBA title in 2018.

In the 2019 postseason, he appeared in 17 of the Warriors 22 games and most notably knocked down three big triples in the Warriors Game 2 win over the Raptors in the NBA Finals.

A career 41.8% 3-point shooter, Cook adds much-needed perimeter shooting to a team that is also reported to have added Danny Green and Troy Daniels this offseason. The Lakers, of course, continue to build after reportedly making the franchise-altering move to acquire All-Star Anthony Davis this summer. As it stands, LeBron James, Kyle Kuzma, JaVale McGee and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope are the only players from last year's team slated to return for the 2019-20 season.

Players can negotiate agreements with teams on Sunday, June 30 at 6:00 p.m. ET but contracts can't be officially signed until the moratorium period ends on July 6.
