NBA Free Agency 2019: Los Angeles Lakers will reportedly add Avery Bradley once he clears waivers image

After bringing in Anthony Davis and a number of free agents over the weekend, the Los Angeles Lakers have continued to improve their roster.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that the Lakers are set to bring in veteran guard Avery Bradley on a two-year deal once he clears waivers today. The second year of the deal is a player option.

Bradley is a nine-year veteran who has made two All-Defensive teams throughout his career. At one point, he was considered one of the best on-ball defenders in the league.

This past season he started in 49 games for the LA Clippers before being traded to the Memphis Grizzlies. During his time in Memphis, Bradley played 14 games averaging 16.1 points, 4.0 assists and 3.1 rebounds while shooting 38.4% from beyond the arc.

Bradley now joins Danny Green, Troy Daniels and Jared Dudley as a crew of 3-and-D guys signed by the Lakers this offseason. He'll provide them with a great second option as an on-ball defender when Green needs a rest.
