With a wire-to-wire 106-93 Game 6 victory, the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Miami Heat in the 2020 NBA Finals to raise their 17th NBA title in franchise history.
It ties them with the Boston Celtics for the most all-time. In this game, which Los Angeles led by as many 36 points, the Lakers began running away with the game and put it out of distance in the second quarter when they outscored the Miami Heat 36-16.
