NBA Finals 2020: Game 6 Player Ratings for Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat image

What a dominant performance in the championship clincher by the Los Angeles Lakers.

Leading wire-to-wire, the Lakers won Game 6, 106-93, and won their 17th championship in franchise history - tied for the most in NBA history. Five players finished in double figures and yet again, the purple-and-gold were led by their All-Star and All-NBA duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

Meanwhile, the Heat had four players finish in double figures but from about midway through the second quarter, this game turned into a blowout.

After the clinical display, it comes as no surprise that the player ratings from Game 6 is filled with Lakers. Take a look:

LeBron James - 10

In this clinching game for the Lakers, LeBron James led front the front with a supremely clinical performance. In 42 minutes, he finished with a triple-double of  28 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists on 13-of-20 shooting from the field while committing just the one turnover.

His Game 6 triple-double is the 11th Finals triple-double of his career.

He barely put a foot wrong as he recorded a plus-minus of +18 - tied for the second-best in the game.

Anthony Davis - 9.5

AD didn't contribute across the board like James did but his impact was felt on the defensive end of the floor. Although his stat line only showed one steal and two blocks, it felt like he impacted every shot that Miami was throwing up.

In his 35 minutes of action, he also finished with 19 points, 15 rebounds, and three assists while being tied with James for the second-best plus-minus in the game (+18).

In his first Finals series, he finished with averages of 25.0 points, 10.7 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 2.0 blocks, and 1.3 steals on 57.1% shooting from the field. Tremendous numbers for a Finals debut.

Rajon Rondo - 9

In Games 3, 4, and 5, Rajon Rondo had combined for 10 points. In this one, he had 19 on incredible shooting efficiency of 8-of-11 from the field and 3-of-4 from beyond the arc.

In just 30 minutes, he also finished with four rebounds and four assists. Nine of his 19 came in the second quarter where the Lakers really ran away with the game, outscoring the Heat 36-16.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope - 8.5

Rondo and KCP

For a third straight game, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope stepped up and delivered for his team. At the final buzzer, he finished with 17 points - a Finals career-high - on 6-of-13 shooting from the field.

Just like Rondo, he came up huge in the second quarter for the team with 11 of his 17 coming in the period.

Alex Caruso - 8

Four points, five assists, three rebounds, a steal, and a block - that was Alex Caruso's final stat line after he was inserted into the starting line-up. His value and contribution won't necessarily show through those numbers but here's some perspective.

In his 33 minutes, he registered the game-high plus-minus of +30!

Jimmy Butler & Bam Adebayo - 7.5

Both of the Miami Heat's All-Stars played the most minutes in this one-sided game.

Butler, logged in 45, finished with 12 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds but simply couldn't put his imprint on the game like he did in Games 3 and 5. On the other hand, Bam Adebayo, who seemed to struggle through the previous two games, found his touch late - when the game was already in the bag for the Lakers.

He'll take plenty of confidence from his performance in Game 6, which was him finish with 25 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, and two blocks in 42 minutes,.
