The Toronto Raptors plan to activate OG Anunoby for Game 2 of the NBA Finals, Nick Nurse announced prior to Game 1.

The 21-year-old has not played since the regular season finale on April 12 due to an emergency appendectomy. He was questionable for Game 1 of the Finals but was eventually ruled out.

It's been an up-and-down season for the promising second-year wing who has been in and out of the lineup all season. Anunoby has appeared in 67 games with six starts, averaging just over 20 minutes per game.

Last season as a rookie, Anunoby played a prominent role in the playoffs as he started all 10 games and spent significant time guarding LeBron James in the Conference Semifinals.

This past season, he played in both games against the Warriors, averaging 4.5 points per game in about 17 minutes per game. In each of those games, Anunoby did spend time matched up against Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, among others.
