NBA Finals 2019: Update: Kevin Durant ruled as questionable for Game 5 image

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr announced at his media availability ahead of Game 5 that Kevin Durant (calf) would practice a day before the game.

Hours ahead of Game 5's tip-off Tuesday, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Durant plans to play in Game 5.

Kerr stated that along with practice Monday, Durant would get some "extra work in" with some of the Warriors' younger guys and the team will "gauge it from there."

Durant went through practice, but not for long.

However, the latest update states that Durant is now listed as 'questionable' for Game 5.

Durant has been out since May 10th with a calf injury – Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals. Prior to his injury, he was in a groove averaging 34.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.9 assists to go with 1.2 steals and 1.0 blocks per game. Durant was shooting 51.3% from the field, 41.6% from beyond the arc and 90.1% from the free throw line.
