NBA Finals 2019: Golden State Warriors vs. Toronto Raptors live score, updates, news, stats, highlights image

The Toronto Raptors have won their first NBA Finals game in franchise history.

A remarkable game from Pascal Siakam paved the way to victory for the Raptors. Stephen Curry kept the Warriors close throughout the game's entirety, but Toronto's depth made the difference in this one.

If you missed any of the action from the Raptors' Game 1 win, we had you covered below with live score updates, news, stats, highlights and more...

Final: Toronto Raptors 118, Golden State Warriors 109

The Raptors have taken Game 1! Pascal Siakam finished with a monster game of 32 points, eight rebounds, five assists, two blocks and a steal. Kawhi Leonard had 23 points, eight boards and five assists and Marc Gasol scored his career-high as a Raptor with 20 points. Fred VanVleet was great again, scoring 15 points off the bench.

For the Warriors, Stephen Curry did all he could to keep his team alive. He had 34 points, five rebounds and five assists. Klay Thompson scored 21 points and Draymond Green recorded a triple-double of 10 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

The Raptors lead 106-94 with 4:42 left to play. Klay Thompson has been assessed a technical foul for aruging with the referee, which signifies the frustration the Warriors are feeling at the moment. Danny Green just ripped down an offensive rebound and Nick Nurse took a timeout to settle down his team and talk things over as they have a chance to close out this Game 1.

Danny Green buries a corner 3, his third 3-pointer of the game, and the Raptors take a 100-88 lead to force a Warriors timeout with 7:31 remaining. After making four total 3-pointers in the entire Conference Finals, Green has found his stroke in the NBA Finals once again.

Teams are trading buckets early in the fourth. Fred VanVleet's four points and a Pascal Siakam layup were matched by a bucket from Klay Thompson, a 3-ball from Jonas Jerebko and one made free throw from Demarcus Cousins. Raptors lead 94-87.

End of third quarter: Raptors 88, Warriors 81

Toronto holds a seven-point lead going into the fourth quarter behind a huge third frame from Pascal Siakam. Siakam had 14 points going a perfect 6-for-6 from the field and now has a game-high 26 points. Kawhi Leonard also found a bit of a rhythm in attacking the hoop and getting to the free throw line, scoring 10 points in the quarter – he has 18 points.

Stephen Curry's 26 points, Klay Thompson's 15 points and Draymond Green's near-triple-double of 10 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists has the Warriors within striking distance.

The Raptors are in control, but the Warriors are hanging around. Toronto leads 79-72 with 3:25 to go in the third. Stephen Curry is keeping his team alive with 11 points in the frame – he's up to 24 points for the game. Klay Thompson has done his part with a pair of 3-pointers and is now up to 15 points.

It's still Pascal Siakam who is stealing the show – he has 26 points on 85% shooting from the field.

Pascal Siakam is on fire out of the half. He has 10 points in the first five minutes of the third quarter to give the Raptors 73-63 lead. He's all over the floor right now, relentlessly attacking the rim to put pressure on the Warriors' defence.

Halftime: Raptors 59, Warriors 49

Kawhi Leonard has just eight points, yet the Raptors have a 10-point lead into the half after a great first two quarters. Marc Gasol has been fantastic on both ends of the floor and has a team-high 14 points to go with five boards. Fred VanVleet is at it again with seven points off the bench while Kyle Lowry leads the team with a plus-12 +/-, doing a little bit of everything, per usual. Lowry has four points, three rebounds and six assists and took a charge that sent Scotiabank Arena into a frenzy.

After scoring 11 points in the first quarter, Curry only had two points in the second frame. Like Lowry, Draymond Green has done a little bit of everything with six points, seven rebounds and three assists to keep the Warriors competitive. Klay Thompson has nine points on 4-for-11 shooting from the field.

With 4:06 remaining in the half, the Raptors hold a slim 42-41 lead. The Warriors have done a great job of swarming Kawhi Leonard any time he tries to attack, holding him to just one made field goal (1-6 FG). It's a balanced scoring effort from Toronto who has had eight different players score but no individual in double-figures.

Golden State has gotten valuable minutes off the bench from Quinn Cook (6 points) and Shaun Livingston (4 points), who is making plays on both ends of the floor.

Serge Ibaka making a big impact in the second quarter. He has four points and two offensive rebounds to give the Raptors' crowd a spark. Toronto leads 31-26 with 9:27 to go in the half.

End of first quarter: Raptors 25, Warriors 21

The Raptors hold a lead after one frame. They've done so by jacking up 14 3-pointers, converting five of the attempts. Marc Gasol is the team's leading scorer with 8 points, while Kawhi Leonard has been held to 3 points shooting 1-for-4 from the field.

Stephen Curry has a game-high 11 points on three 3-pointers and Draymond Green has already grabbed six rebounds.

It didn't take Stephen Curry very long to get going in this one – he's already up to 11 points on 3-for-5 shooting from the perimeter. However, the Raptors are in the lead 22-19 with under three minutes to go in the first frame behind a pair of 3's from Marc Gasol.

Also, Klay Thompson threw down this vicious dunk.

Both teams are letting it fly early. We're at a 9-9 tie through the first four-plus minutes of the game. The Raptors have gotten three 3's with Danny Green, Kawhi Leonard and Marc Gasol each knocking down one. Stephen Curry has five points for the Warriors including a 3-ball of his own.
