Kevin Durant's return from injury was cut short in Game 5 as he appeared to re-aggravate his injured calf, which kept him sidelined for over a month.

Durant went down early in the second quarter after he attempted to back down Serge Ibaka on the perimeter, immediately clutching his right calf.

The 30-year-old was helped back to the locker room by training staff, alongside Andre Iguodala and Stephen Curry, putting a limited amount of pressure on the injured leg.

ESPN confirmed Durant had been diagnosed with a 'right lower leg injury' and is set to undergo an MRI tomorrow.

Durant began the game on fire, scoring 11 points in 12 minutes of action, connecting on 3-of-3 from the three-point line.
