NBA Finals 2019: Golden State Warriors' DeMarcus Cousins 'questionable' for Game 1, Kevin Durant ruled out image

DeMarcus Cousins is closer to returning from injury, with Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr telling reporters the big man is 'questionable' for Game 1 of the NBA FInals against the Toronto Raptors.

The 28-year-old, who has been sidelined since April 15 after tearing his right quad in their first-round series against the Los Angeles Clippers, practiced with the team today, scrimmaging with the second unit. 


Meanwhile, Kevin Durant has been officially ruled out for Game 1 as he continues to recover from a calf strain, with the team reportedly unsure if he will travel to Toronto for Game 1 and 2. 


Durant has been sidelined since Game 5 of the Western Conference Semi-Finals, which saw him limp off court in the third quarter against the Houston Rockets.

Since his injury, the Warriors have gone 5-0 with Steph Curry averaging 35.8 points per game, closing out the Rockets in six games before sweeping the Porltand Trail Blazers in the Western Conference Finals.


In 11 games this postseason, Durant averaged 34.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.9 assists on 51.3% shooting from the field and 41.6% from the three-point line.
