Ball joins older brother Lonzo in the NBA as the only two brothers to be selected in the top five picks in the Draft, with the former No.2 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft plying his trade with the New Orleans Pelicans, meanwhile, LiAngelo Ball is currently with the Oklahoma City Thunder Blue - the team's G League affiliate.

The youngest Ball brother took the route less-traveled on his way to becoming the No.3 in the draft after opting against playing college basketball and heading Down Under to play in Australia's National Basketball League (NBL).

Ball impressed in his lone season in Australia, averaging 17 points, 7.5 rebounds, 7.0 assists, and 1.7 steals with the Illawarra Hawks, going on to be named Rookie of the Year.
