The 2019 NBA Draft will consist of a new set of odds featured in this year's draft lottery.

The NBA Board of Governors approved a change in 2017, effective for the first time in 2019, to change the odds of the worst three records in the NBA.

Under the new system, the teams with the three worst records will share the same chance (14.0 percent) at receiving the No.1 overall pick. It also assures that the team with the worst record in the NBA will receive no worse than the No. 5 overall pick. Under the modified NBA Draft Lottery format, each team will be assigned the following odds:

Effectively just a game of chance, the bounce of the lottery balls can set in motion and alter the future of NBA teams.

Teams who have missed the playoffs arrive with one representative on stage and the order revealed from 14 to 1.

The team who wins the NBA Draft Lottery will hold the number one pick in the upcoming NBA Draft.

2019 will see a change to the percentages of obtaining the top pick, with the bottom three teams in the league all receiving an equal 14% opportunity.
