The tournament, which tips off on Jul. 10, is divided into two age groups of U-13 and U-17. It will be played out online on Zoom with 32 ballers per age group and five rounds per stage.
This tournament is one of many ways the NBA Basketball Schools program has attempted to bridge the gap to young basketball fans in India virtually since the COVID-19 pandemic first hit.

Thrice since Sep. 2020, NBA Basketball Schools has participated in three Online Sports Festivals which included sessions led by NBA-trained coaches, fun games and key challenges, training and informative sessions, and interactive with well-known basketball personalities like Princepal Singh and Raspreet Sidhu.
During the complete lockdowns in 2020, from April to June, the program conducted interactive live sessions with NBA Academy India's student-athletes and even Technical Director - Scott Flemming.
