He's recorded nine this season to extend his lead at the top with a total of 194 triple-doubles. Having averaged a triple-double in four of the last five seasons, 171 of Westbrook's 194 triple-doubles have come since 2016.
Westbrook is also the all-time triple-doubles leader for two franchises – the Oklahoma City Thunder (138) and Washington Wizards (38).

Courtesy of his red-hot triple-double streak over the past years, he is the only player in NBA history to have recorded multiple triple-doubles against every NBA franchise.

As the table shows, the other active players are Nikola Jokic and James Harden – at 76 and 68 career triple-double respectively - and Luka Doncic who has climbed into 10th with 45.
Jokic has climbed up the rankings swiftly in season 2021-22, having recorded 19 triple-doubles this campaign alone.
Outside of the Top 10, Giannis Antetokoumpo could crack into the leaderboard soon, he is now 17th all-time with 29 triple-doubles.
