The second fan vote returns for the 2024 NBA All-Star Game have been revealed.
Voting opened on Dec. 19 and runs through Jan. 20, granting fans a daily opportunity to select the 10 players they would like to see start in the 2024 NBA All-Star Game. Just as in previous years, the fan vote accounts for 50 percent of the vote to determine starters. The other 50 percent will be split by current players and a media panel.
In January, the league will provide three All-Star voting updates. After the first returns were released on Jan. 4, the second and third returns will be provided on Jan. 11 and Jan. 18. Starters for the game will be announced a week after the final returns.

The tightest races for starting spots
Things are heating up in the Eastern Conference backcourt.
This week, Hawks guard Trae Young (1,449,485) has surpassed Bucks guard Damian Lillard (1,414,122) in the fan vote but leads by fewer than 40,000 votes. Donovan Mitchell, the only other East guard with over 1 million votes, trails Lillard by fewer than 300,000 votes.
Things are mostly spaced out in the West, with Nikola Jokic trailing LeBron James by over 300,000 votes to be the conference's leading vote-getter. And while the NBA All-Star Game will no longer have an All-Star draft, the leading vote-getter in each conference will be named captain of their team.

After he was noticeably absent in the first fan vote returns, Suns guard Devin Booker has jumped to 10th among West guards, replacing LA's Austin Reaves. In the East frontcourt, Julius Randle has replaced Kyle Kuzma in the top 10.
The order has changed slightly, but the same 10 names remain in the West frontcourt and East backcourt.
Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama, who ranks eighth among frontcourt players in the West, is the youngest player to appear in the top 10. He is joined by Thunder big man Chet Holmgren as the only two rookies to earn top-10 rankings.
When will the NBA share fan vote returns?
The NBA will provide updates on All-Star Game fan voting on the first three Thursdays of January.

When will the NBA All-Star Game starters be announced?
The 2024 NBA All-Star Game starters will be revealed on Thursday, Jan. 25.
The starters will be announced during TNT's NBA Tip-Off. TNT will broadcast a doubleheader featuring playoff rematches on Jan. 25: Celtics vs. Heat tips things off at 7:30 p.m. ET followed by Kings vs. Warriors at 10 p.m ET.
The All-Star Game's reserves, which are selected by NBA head coaches, will be revealed a week later, on Thursday, Feb. 1.
