Who has scored the most points in an NBA All-Star Game? image

The All-Star Game brings the NBA's best players together for one night every season, so it's no surprise that there have been some explosive performances over the years.

However, since the first All-Star Game almost 70 years ago, only five players have ever scored 40 or more points in an All-Star Game. Anthony Davis currently holds the record with 52 points. Before him, it was Wilt Chamberlain (42) who had scored the most points in an All-Star Game, set way back in 1962.

With that in mind, let's take a look back at the highest scoring performances in the history of the NBA's All-Star Game...

Anthony Davis — 52 points

Davis shot 26-for-39 on his record-breaking night, setting another All-Star record for most field goals made and attempted. He was named MVP for his efforts.

Wilt Chamberlain — 42 points

Chamberlain scored 42 points in a loss to the Eastern Conference in the 1962 NBA All-Star Game. He also grabbed 24 rebounds, tying him with Bob Pettit and Bill Russell for the fourth-most in the game's history.

Russell Westbrook — 41 points (twice)

Westbrook has scored 41 points in an All-Star Game twice, once in 2015, then again in 2017. The Western Conference won both of those games, but only one of those performances earned Westbrook an MVP award.

Paul George — 41 points

George scored 41 points in the 2016 NBA All-Star Game, doing so on 9-for-19 shooting from 3-point range. It's the most 3-pointers anyone has ever made and attempted in an All-Star Game.

Michael Jordan — 40 points

Jordan put on a show in the 1988 NBA All-Star Game, scoring 40 points on 17-for-23 shooting at the Chicago Stadium in Chicago, Illinois. Jordan also finished with eight rebounds, four blocks, four steals and three assists.
