The Brooklyn Nets have themselves one mighty fine shooter as Joe Harris claims the glory by winning the 3-Point Contest.

Harris opened proceedings and showed his intent by scoring 25 in the opening round to book his place in the final.

Stephen Curry may have stolen the limelight by making his final 10 shots in the first round, but Harris wasn't fazed.

The Nets guard walked out for the final and carried his form over by making ever shot from his money ball rack to finish on 26.

Buddy Hield couldn't match the finals intensity, but Harris had a few nervous moments when Curry got his round underway.

Curry knocked down nine of his first 10 shots to bring the crowd up off their seats.

A stutter in the middle rounds meant Curry needed to make every shot from his money ball rack to force a tie.

Unfortunately for him, Curry's third shot rolled around the rim before falling out and handing Harris the title.

"I'm coming in just trying to knock down shots, very similar to my mental approach when I'm in the game, and everything kind of happens in a blur," Harris said following his win.

"I think I was lucky to be the first guy to shoot because I was able to get kind of warm beforehand, and you don't really have a ton of anxiety because you can't have time to think about it.  You're going right into it, right into shooting.

"I guess on that last championship round, Steph got hot and missed a few there, and then I thought we were still going to go to the tiebreaker, and I kind of got a stroke of luck on my side that he missed one of the corner ball shots."
