From July 3-5, India will take part in the U16 2019 South Asian Basketball Association (SABA) Basketball Championship alongside countries like Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Nepal.
The winner of this tournament, that takes place in Dhaka, qualifies to the Asian Championships later this year.

Off the 12 boys that will look to help India defend their title at the SABA Basketball Championships, seven boys were NBA Academy India student-athletes: Robin Banerjee, Pranav Prince, Achintya Krishna, Digvijay Singh, Brijesh Tiwari, Jitendra Kumar and Lokendra Singh.
Of these seven, three (Pranav Prince, Achintya Krishna, and Lokendra Singh), a few days later, will represent NBA Academy India at the Academy Games in Atlanta.
