Lokendra Singh was named MVP of the tournament.
He was a member of the Indian national squad this past July at the U16 SABA Basketball Championships 2019, where the team went unbeaten and won the championship. A few days later, he represented NBA Academy India at the third NBA Academy Games in Atlanta before then being part of India's squad at the Jr. NBA Global Championship in August.
Singh was joined by Pranav Prince to the All-Tournament team. Prince also participated in the SABA Basketball Championship and the NBA Academy Games.
In September, NBA Academy India participated in in Stage I of Junior-Group A of EYBL Central European Division. Prince was named MVP after averaging 16 points and 6.3 rebounds through four games as the Academy went 1-3.
Late last month, Prince was the only Indian selected to participate in the NBA Global Academy Development Camp at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra, Australia.
As the NBA Academy India looks forward to 2020, one major event, certainly early on (in January), is already marked on their calendars - Stage II of Junior-Group A of EYBL Central European Division in Hungary.
