We're now two weeks into the NBA season and NBA 2K20 has made their first ratings update of the season!

Sure, you can watch tons of NBA games, crunch numbers and compare stats – or, you can trust the ratings makers over at 2K to provide you with an update on how certain players are performing so far this season!

Some stars' ratings went up, while others went down. Take a look at some of the biggest changes for the stars around the league!

Kyrie Irving – 92 overall (+1)

Irving Harden Houston Brooklyn

Kyrie Irving receives a slight ratings boost after averaging 31.7 points through his first seven games as a member of the Brooklyn Nets. That's the second-most points per game in the league behind James Harden and Irving's 92 overall ties him with Damian Lillard and Joel Embiid for the 8th-highest rated player in the game.

Luka Doncic – 90 overall (+3)

Dallas Luka Doncic

When you record three triple-doubles in the first seven games of the season, your rating is bound to increase. Luka Doncic is nearly averaging a triple-double at 26.7 points, 9.9 rebounds and 9.1 assists per game and his 90 overall rating puts him tied with Karl-Anthony Towns and Russell Westbrook for the 12th best player in the game.

Trae Young – 89 overall (+4)

#TraeYoung

Trae Young has been awesome to start the season, filling up the box score with points and assists. Young is averaging 24.2 points and 7.5 assists per game but the biggest improvement is his shooting percentages – 46.2% from the field and 41.3% from 3-point land. At an 89 overall, he's cracked the top-five highest rated point guards in 2K.

Nikola Jokic – 89 overall (-1)

Jokic

It's been an interesting start to the season for Nikola Jokic, who hasn't looked like the MVP candidate we saw last season. His points, rebounds and assists averages are all down from last season, placing him below the 90-overall threshold, now tying him with Andre Drummond for the third-best centre in the game.

Devin Booker – 87 overall (+1)

#Booker

Devin Booker has his Phoenix Suns exceeding expectations to start the season and his 2K rating increased because of it. Booker is averaging 25.6 points per game shooting much more efficiently at 52.9% from the field and 50.0% from 3-point range. At 87 overall, he's one overall point shy of cracking the top-five shooting guards in 2K.

Kyle Lowry – 86 overall (+1)

kyle-lowry

Kyle Lowry has had an incredible start to the season for the defending champion Toronto Raptors. He's averaging 24.0 points and 6.7 assists per game with efficiency increases at 48.1% from the field and 42.9% from 3-point range. If we've learned anything here – 2K shows love to efficiency. Lowry is now the 7th-best point guard in the game.

Brandon Ingram – 85 overall (+4)

brandon ingram

Even if the New Orleans Pelicans' record doesn't show it, Brandon Ingram has been awesome in filling in as the team's go-to guy with Zion Williamson out. Ingram is averaging 25.9 points, 7.1 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game while shooting 55.2% from the field and 48.6% from 3-point range. All of the aforementioned would be career-highs for Ingram and his 85 overall rating cracks the top-10 small forwards in 2K.

D'Angelo Russell – 85 overall (-2)

D'Angelo Russell has missed the past few games due to an ankle injury but five games was enough of a sample-size for 2K to drop his rating. He's averaging 19.0 points per game but hasn't been efficient, shooting 38.6% from the field and 31.4% from 3-point land. He's nearly fallen out of the top-10 point guards, tied with Chris Paul and De'Aaron Fox for 10th.

Derrick Rose – 84 overall (+4)

Derrick Rose

The Detroit Pistons have been bit by the injury bug to start the season but Derrick Rose was doing what he could to keep them afloat. Through six games off the bench, Rose is averaging 20.8 points and 6.3 assists shooting 56.2% from the field. He's making a strong early case for Sixth Man of the Year and he is now a top-20 point guard in 2K.

You read that wrong – not Kyrie Irving. From Boston, graduated from the University of New Hampshire. Sixth season as a content producer for NBA.com's Global editions. Covering the NBA Draft has become his annual "dream come true" moment on the job. Irving has a soft spot for pass-first point guards, with Rajon Rondo and Steve Nash being two of his favorite players of all time.
