Despite Kawhi Leonard's return, the Mavs were able to take Game 2 from the Clippers in Los Angeles 96-93, evening the series at 1-1. After losing by 12 in Game 1, Dallas came back strong and led for most of the second contest before coming out with the win.

Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving combined for 55 points, and P.J. Washington followed suit with 18 of his own. The Mavs held Leonard to 15 points in his first game back since late March—they also kept the Clippers below 30% from the three-point line, stifling part of LA's attack.

Paul George and James Harden both notched 22 points apiece, and Ivica Zubac pulled in a double-double of 13 points and 12 rebounds. Russell Westbrook scored seven points and grabbed nine rebounds off the bench, but it wasn't enough to help the Clippers come out with the win.

Now, both teams head to Dallas with the series tied at one. The Clippers will have to manage at least one win away in order to keep the series close before returning home. They'll need Leonard, who's still rusty from his time off, to regain some of his productivity to do so.
