Did Lil Wayne's negative comments about Anthony Davis come back to haunt him on Thursday night?
That's what the five-time Grammy Award winner believes after he claims he was disrespected by security at Crypto.com Arena during the Lakers' overtime win over the Wizards.
Lil Wayne said he was "treated like s—" at the game and indicated that he expected to be treated poorly "sooner or later" because he criticized Davis in November.
"Wow!" Lil Wayne tweeted. "Got treated like s— at the Laker game just now but I figured they’d do me that sooner or later either bc of what i said abt AD or simply bc they don’t fwm which I been got that vibe from em as well so all good I get it. F— em. It isn’t what it isn’t. I’m used to it.
Lil Wayne alleged that security treated him disrespectfully when he tried to get to his seat during live play. Security wanted him to wait for a timeout to get to his seat, but instead of politely telling him to wait, the rapper claims a security guard treated him rudely.
Lil Wayne added that he had never seen the security guard before, so it wasn't a person he typically deals with at Lakers games.

What did Lil Wayne say about Anthony Davis?
Lil Wayne is referencing his comments made in November on "Undisputed," when he called for the Lakers to trade Anthony Davis.
"If the Lakers want to be a championship team ... you've got to get rid of AD," the rapper said after the team's early-season struggles.
Lil Wayne criticized Davis' inconsistency, saying he performs "every other night" and the Lakers didn't necessarily need another superstar next to LeBron James.

Lil Wayne admitted Friday that Davis has played much better since then, even in losses.
While he certainly can't prove his comments about Davis had anything to do with Thursday's interaction, Lil Wayne doesn't seem to be on the best terms with the organization in his eyes right now.
