From January 16th (Day 7) to January 20th (Day 11), basketball games were conducted at the Nabin Chandra Bordoloi Indoor Hall as part of the Khelo India Youth Games 2020 in Guwahati, Assam.
Men's results
In the U-21 men's category, NBA Global Academy student-athlete Princepal Singh guided Punjab to a comfortable 79-52 win in the gold medal game against Tamil Nadu. He played all 40 minutes of the game and finished with 10 points, nine rebounds, and five assists.
NBA Academy India student-athlete Amaan Sandhu was also a member of the squad, and he finished with 16 points and 21 rebounds while going 7-of-7 from the field.
Kerala clinched the bronze medal with a narrow 71-70 win over Delhi.
In the U-17 men's category, Rajasthan, whose roster included three NBA Academy India student-athletes in Jitendra Sharma, Digvijay Shekhawat and Lokendra Singh, won the gold medal with an 86-79 win.
In the bronze medal game, Kerala defeated Tamil Nadu 76-67 on the back of a near triple-double by NBA Academy India student-athlete Pranav Prince - 21 points, 18 rebounds, and 9 assists. Not to mention his five blocks and three steals.
Women's results
In the U-21 women's category, Kerala clinched the gold medal after defeating Maharashtra 88-63. Sreekala Rani, an NBA Academy India Women's Camp alum, contributed across the board with 30 points, 10 rebounds, 9 steals, and four assists.
In the bronze medal game, India's rising star Harsimran Kaur contributed 18 points, seven rebounds, three steals and three assists as Punjab beat Tamil Nadu 81-65.

In the U-17 category, Tamil Nadu edged Rajasthan in a thriller 59-57 while Karnataka clinched the bronze medal after they beat Kerala 65-57.
