The injury-stricken Knicks have been dealt another blow.
In the first half of Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, forward Josh Hart appeared to be in serious discomfort after contact with Pacers forward Andrew Nembhard. Hart remained in the game for the moment but grimaced as if the pain increased with more activity.
Hart would briefly exit and place heat on his abdominal area but continued to play in the game. In the second half, Hart uncharacteristically asked to be taken out but again, returned to the floor to play through his apparent discomfort.

What is Josh Hart's injury?
Early in the fourth quarter, Hart was ruled out for the remainder of the game with abdominal soreness.
Hart appeared to suffer the injury after receiving a hit to the abdominal area from Nembhard. On an ensuing play, Hart appeared to aggravate the injury, causing him to react to the discomfort.
During the broadcast, Hart was captured with some tape on his abdominal area.

In the third quarter, Hart was briefly pulled after asking for a substitution but returned to the floor after a quick break from the action.
Hart was ruled out of the game in the fourth quarter, per Cassidy Hubbarth.
Will Josh Hart play in Game 7 vs. Pacers?
Hart has been diagnosed with an abdominal strain and is listed as questionable for Game 7 on the Knicks' injury report.
Hart will attempt to try to play through the injury, per The Athletic's Shams Charania.

New York cannot afford to lose another key contributor. After entering the postseason without All-Star Julius Randle, the Knicks have lost O.G. Anunoby, Bojan Bogdanovic and Mitchell Robinson to injury.
