It's been a big summer for Celtics star Jayson Tatum, who can now add author to a long list of titles.
Months after winning his first NBA title and signing a historic contract extension to remain in Boston, Tatum and Sam Apple are co-authors of the children's book "Baby Dunks-a-Lot," which hit shelves on Tuesday, Sept. 10.
The book, which is inspired by Tatum's relationship with his son, Deuce, has made headlines by including a few of Tatum's NBA adversaries. In addition to including superstars LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Jimmy Butler, the book hilariously features one of Tatum's former Celtics teammates as the baby's main antagonist.
Here's more on the book and how Tatum used it to troll his former teammate.

Jayson Tatum trolls former Celtics teammate Grant Williams in new children's book
The title of "Baby Dunks-a-Lot" is self-explanatory, as it follows a basketball phenomenon — a dunking baby taking on the world's best players.
As Tatum walks fans through the book, it's impossible to miss the familiar likenesses of the players he chose to include. Funnier than anything, though, is that Grant Williams is on the receiving end of the worst of it all.
Early in the book, Williams has his shot blocked by Tatum, an art-imitates-life callback to Tatum's denial of one of Williams' halfcourt heaves during his time in Dallas.

Spoiler alert! But the book appears to lead up to Baby Dunks-A-Lot leading the Ballers to victory with a game-winning dunk over a visibly exasperated Williams.

As evidenced by Tatum's message of thanks to the players in the book, their inclusion was all in good fun. The images of Williams perfectly encapsulate the love-hate relationship that he and Tatum developed over their four years as teammates in Boston.
Seriously, who could forget Tatum's NSFW reaction to Williams' decision to dress as Batman for Halloween?
Through it all, though, it's rooted in love. In March, Tatum made a point to take to social media to deny rumors of Williams being "annoying" and a "bad locker room guy" with the Celtics.

While it was rooted in fun this time, Williams may want to read the scouting report for Baby Dunks-a-Lot should this be the first of a series of books. Spoiler: He dunks. A lot.
