Isaiah Thomas is back in the NBA.
The 5-9 point guard has expressed his desire to once again play in the NBA over the past two years, and he finally can make that a reality.
He most recently spent a four-game stint in the NBA G League with the Salt Lake City Stars, the Utah Jazz's affiliate.
Now, he'll get another chance in the pros with the Phoenix Suns, where he spent half of a season in 2014-15.
Isaiah Thomas contract details
The Suns signed Thomas to a 10-day contract on March 16, per The Athletic's Shams Charania.
Thomas will serve as a backup point guard to Devin Booker and will come off the bench with Eric Gordon. He'll provide some much-needed point guard depth, considering Bradley Beal is currently listed as the backup despite being the starting shooting guard.
Thomas spent four games in the G League with the Salt Lake City Stars before the Suns offered him a 10-day deal.
