The New Orleans Pelicans have put a scare into the Phoenix Suns, but the top-seeded team in the West is still only one game away from advancing to the second round.
After the Pelicans stole one in Phoenix in Game 2, the Suns took homecourt advantage right back with a road win in Game 4. Upon returning back to Phoenix for Game 5, the Suns handled their business behind an impressive stat line of 31 points, five rebounds, four blocks, two assists and one steal in 47 minutes of playing time from rising star Mikal Bridges.

Chris Paul also stepped up in a big way, going for 22 points and 11 assists, joining Magic Johnson and LeBron James as the only players in NBA history to have 31-plus playoff games with 20-plus points and 10-plus assists.
Without Devin Booker in the lineup – who has been out since Game 2 with a hamstring injury – the Suns became mortal to the lower-seeded Pelicans, as Brandon Ingram and co. have pushed this series further than anyone anticipated.
Ingram has been stellar so far, averaging 28.2 points, 6.4 rebounds and 5.2 assists for the series. There is no duo in these playoffs who have combined for more points than him and CJ McCollum, who is averaging 24.0 points per game.
Can the Pelicans stay feisty and force a Game 7? Or will the Suns take care of business in New Orleans and move on to the next round?
