History was almost made at Crypto.com Arena on Friday night.
The Clippers hosted the Kings in a game that was expected to be all about Russell Westbrook's debut with his new team. Westbrook showed out with a double-double of 17 points and 14 assists but his performance was overshadowed by the ridiculous number of points scored by the two teams.
You would have thought an All-Star Game had broken out between LA and Sacramento, as the Kings defeated the Clippers 176-175 in double overtime.
De'Aaron Fox and Malik Monk combined for 87 points. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George combined for 78 points. All 19 players who stepped on the floor scored.
