His speed off the dribble and passing instincts have created plenty of highlights, none better than this no-look dime to Zach Edey against the Bulls.

Kawamura has been a bright spark in preseason for the Grizzlies as he looks to fight his way onto the roster and while he stands just 5-foot-8, he's impressed with his energy and effort on the defensive side of the floor.

Kawamura signed an Exhibit 10 contract in the offseason after an impressive showing at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games with the Japanese National Team, averaging 20.3 points per game, headlined by a monster outing against eventual silver medalists France.
Against Victor Wembanyama and co, he put up 29 points, seven rebounds, and six assists., becoming just the third player in Olympic history to record more than 25+ points, 5+ rebounds, and 5+ assists in a single game.
