The Memphis Grizzlies hosted the Oklahoma City Thunder Sunday night, but things didn't exactly go to plan at tip-off.

As both teams hit the court for the game, there was one problem – both teams were rocking their home white jerseys.

As the teams' equipment managers scrambled, there was a slight delay to the game as the Grizzlies had to head back to the locker room to change into their customary blue road uniforms.

When Nike took over as the league's official jersey manufacturer ahead of the 2017-18 season, it did away with the traditional home and away jerseys which always saw the home team rocking a white uniform and the road team wearing colored jerseys, now giving teams up to four different uniforms to pick from.

The jersey mix-up is becoming an annual tradition in Oklahoma City. Last season in a game against the Atlanta Hawks, the Thunder played in their orange uniforms and the Hawks in their red uniforms, causing some confusion through the first half.

At the break, the Thunder swapped out their unis to their whites for the second half.
