Monday, Jan. 17th, 2022 is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. 

MLK day is a celebration of a man who dreamed that one day all men and women would be viewed equally.

The day is observed by people of all backgrounds, with the NBA once again producing a loaded slate to help celebrate with tributes and marquee matchups.

This season, there will be a 12-game slate, with a TNT double-header followed by an NBA TV nightcap.

The Milwaukee Bucks will visit the Atlanta Hawks in the second TNT game of the day, with the rematch of the Eastern Conference Finals one of the highlights. Staples Center will host a double-header, with the Clippers meeting Indiana in the afternoon before the Lakers wrap up the night against a fellow contender in the Utah Jazz.

MLK Day has become one of the biggest days of the regular season, with the basketball bringing teams and fans together to remember the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.
