Game of the Night

There were plenty to choose from for the 'Game of the Night. There was the entertaining overtime game in Washington D.C. where the Wizards won despite missing Bradley Beal but got to go with the marquee contest in Philadelphia.

The 76ers led for 47 of the 48 minutes of the game but in the end, the Nets' 16-1 game-sealing run over the final 5:30 minutes of the game won them the contest 114-109.

Brooklyn trailed by as many as 14 but never gave up. The final minutes had a playoff atmosphere to it as the Nets spoiled the 76ers' home opener and recorded their first win of the season.

Performance of the Night

Kevin Durant was quite the candidate but difficult to look past Spencer Dinwiddie.

The 6-5 guard posted a game-high points tally in just his second game back from an ACL injury just three games into last season. Despite missing key players like Bradley Beal, Rui Hachimura and Thomas Bryant, Dinwiddie scored eight in the final 2:17 of regulation that helped the Wizards force overtime against the Indiana Pacers.

Then, in the extra session, he scored or assisted on 10 of the team's 12 points which was key to the Wizards winning 135-134.

His performance helped the Wizards overcome Myles Turner's 40-point night.
