As the dust settles on the 2021 NBA trade deadline it can be easy to forget we still have basketball to play!

Five games are on the slate on Friday on a day that truly signifies the road to the postseason is about to begin.

Portland Trail Blazers 125, Miami Heat 122

CJ McCollum poured in 29 of his 35 points in the first half to help the Blazers to a hard fought win on the road.

Bam Adebayo led Miami with 29 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.

Washington Wizards 102, New York Knicks 106

The Knicks outscored the Wizards 39-24 in the fourth quarter to comeback from a double-digit deficit in the fourth.

Alec Burks led the Knicks with 27 points and six rebounds. Bradley Beal tallied 26 for Washington.

LA Clippers 98, San Antonio Spurs 85

Paul George finished with 24 points and 13 rebounds as the Clippers used a big fourth quarter to coast to a win in San Antonio.

DeMar DeRozan was top scorer for the Spurs with 23 points.

Philadelphia 76ers 109, Los Angeles Lakers 101

Dwight Howard and Danny Green both picked up their championship rings on return to Staples Centre. It was the beginning of an eventful night for Howard, who was ejected at the end of the first quarter for picking up his second technical.

Green on the other hand played a major part in the win for Philadelphia, pouring in 28 points on 8-for-12 from beyond the arc.

Golden State Warriors 119, Sacramento Kings 141

Sacramento take a 63-52 edge with 4:40 left in the first half.

De'Aaron Fox is leading the was with 21 points.

Bam Adebayo - 29 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists, 5 blocks

Russell Westbrook - 13 points, 18 rebounds, 9 assists, 2 steals, 4 blocks

Danny Green - 28 points, 5 rebounds, 8-for-12 3P

De'Aaron Fox - 44 points, 7 assists, 3 steals
