The NBA season continued on Friday with four games.

Houston Rockets 104, Portland Trail Blazers 101

The Rockets pick up their fourth straight win in a thriller with the Blazers.

Victor Oladipo and Christian Wood led the way for the Rockets; Oladipo with 25 points, seven rebounds and five assists, Wood with 22 points and 12 rebounds.

Oladipo came up big down the stretch with a layup in the closing seconds to give the Rockets a three-point lead.

Detroit Pistons 107, Los Angeles Lakers 92

LeBron James cooled off following a scorching first half, paving the way for Blake Griffin and Wayne Ellington to lead the Pistons to victory.

Griffin scored a team-high 23 points, making for his second 20-point game of the season. Ellington wasn't far behind him with 20 points, doing so on 6-for-9 shooting from 3-point range.

After starting the season 10-0 on the road, the Lakers have now lost two in a row away from Los Angeles.

LA Clippers 109, Miami Heat 105

With Kawhi Leonard and Paul George out, it was Nicolas Batum who stepped up for the Clippers to the tune of 18 points on 6-for-9 shooting from the perimeter.

Serge Ibaka chipped in with a 10-point, 13-rebound double-double and Lou Williams poured in 17 points off the bench.

Phoenix Suns 114, Golden State Warriors 93

A dominant showing from the Suns.

Mikal Bridges scored a team-high 20 points, but Deandre Ayton finished with a 12-point, 13-rebound double-double and Frank Kaminsky flirted with a triple-double off the bench with 12 points, 14 rebounds and eight assists.

Stephen Curry scored a game-high 27 points in a losing effort.
