The Warriors 2022 championship parade took on a bit of a different format.
Per Kylen Mills, a reporter from Bay Area news network KRON4, there will be no public speeches from the players and no rally before or after the parade. Instead, speeches will be given in a private ceremony that will be broadcasted.
WARRIORS PARADE UPDATE: I'm told the players will not be doing any public speeches & there will not be any rally before or after the parade (like the Giants have done at Civic Center). They will give speeches at 10:20am in a private ceremony which will be broadcast. #DubNation

That wouldn't stop Draymond Green
While the news of no public speeches was met with disappointment, including a few tweets from the All-Star forward, he found ways to speak his mind at the celebration.

Green, who hasn't shied away from addressing naysayers since winning his fourth NBA championship, took to Twitter just after 1:30 a.m. PT on the day of the parade to share his reaction.
Green has made sure to respond to detractors, a trend that continued at Golden State's fourth championship parade in eight seasons.

After warming up his trolling efforts with a custom version of Boston's "All About 18" t-shirt, Green took the microphone to say, "I told y'all don't let us to win a f–ing championship," before vowing to "continue to destroy people on Twitter."

His message to those not on the Warriors' side? Was short, sweet and equally as colorful.
“And as always, f— everybody else.”

He had a simple message for his haters, too.

In years past, Green has used the forum to make a number of statements, both with his apparel and his speeches.
In 2015, Green gave the famous "nope! yup!" interview and during the back-to-back titles in 2017 and 2018, Green wore t-shirts poking fun at Cleveland's Quicken Loans Arena and LeBron James' usage of the "Arthur" balled fist meme, using interviews and speeches to call out Tristan Thompson and the hypocrisy of the "superteam" debate.
Stay tuned to see what else Green has in store for his parade performance in 2022.
