What is Andrew Wiggins' injury?

Wiggins was dealing with a right adductor strain.

The last time Wiggins played was Golden State's win over Houston on Dec. 3. He had his highest-scoring game of the season, finishing with 36 points on 14-for-19 shooting from the field.

Wiggins is averaging 19.1 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.4 steals on 51.1 percent shooting from the field through 22 games this season.

How long will Andrew Wiggins be out?

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr confirmed that Wiggins participated in practice ahead of Golden State's Christmas Day win over Memphis. While he didn't play, he was initially ruled as questionable.

Kerr has since said that Wiggins has been cleared to play, but he's now dealing with an illness.

The Warriors are 6-7 without Wiggins in this stretch. They have also been without Stephen Curry for eight straight games and counting.

Monday's matchup with Atlanta will mark the fifth of eight straight home games for Golden State.

Wiggins has been ruled out against the Hawks with a non-COVID illness.
