All-Star Moment of the Day: Orlando Magic centre Nikola Vucevic continues his dominance versus Kings image

The Orlando Magic aren't on national television as much as other teams and that overshadows just how ridiculous their star centre Nikola Vucevic has been this season.

The Swiss big man has been nothing short of a dominating force and following another monster performance tonight in a win over the Sacramento Kings, he deserves your consideration for the 2020-21 All-Star Game.

Vucevic terrorized the Kings with a stuffed stat sheet of 42 points, nine rebounds, four assists and two steals while shooting a ridiculously efficient 17-for-22 (77.3%) from the field and 6-for-8 (75.0%) from 3.

He only needed three quarters to eclipse the 30-point mark, his second 40-point outing this season. This isn't anything new for Vucevic, who exactly one week ago went for a ridiculous 43-point, 19-rebound double-double in a win over the Chicago Bulls.

It wasn't just his scoring and his rebounding that stood out, either. The centre flashed a bit of versatility with this beautiful dime to Khem Birch in the fourth quarter to help extend his team's lead.

Vucevic really has been a jack-of-all-trades this season, well on his way to joining an elite group of 3-point shooting big men in NBA history.

Averaging 24.0 points and 11.5 rebounds while shooting 44.0% from 3-point range, Vucevic is one of three players this season (Nikola Jokic, Christian Wood) to average over 20 points and 10 boards while shooting 40 percent or better from 3.

Only four players in NBA history – Larry Bird, Kevin Love, Karl-Anthony Towns and John Collins – have achieved that feat over the course of an entire season (min. 50 3-point attempts).

His 19 double-doubles ranks third in the NBA, only trailing Jokic and Domantas Sabonis. He's also one of 12 players in the NBA to have multiple 40-point games this season.

Vucevic is making a strong case for his second-career All-Star bid.
