The 76ers handled the Raptors in Game 1 and things aren't getting any easier for Toronto.

Joel Embiid went for 19 points and 15 rebounds while James Harden had 22 points and 14 assists, but it was second-year guard Tyrese Maxey who stole the show in Game 1.

Maxey, whose previous playoff career-high was only 16 points, erupted for 38 points to set the tone in the series for the 76ers.

In the fourth quarter, things went from bad to worse for the Raptors when rookie Scottie Barnes went down with a left ankle injury. They had already lost veteran forward Thaddeus Young to a thumb injury. On Sunday, it was also revealed that Gary Trent Jr. is dealing with a non-COVID illness.

All three of those players are listed as doubtful for Game 2, making this series an uphill battle for Toronto.

The Raptors will need more from their core trio of Pascal Siakam, Fred VanVleet and OG Anunoby to make up for the potential loss of two key starters in Barnes and Trent.

Can Toronto steal a game on the road or will it head back to Canada with a 2-0 series deficit?
