That being said, here's a look at 15 must-rewatch games from the 2019-20 season on NBA League Pass!

In chronological order...

Oct. 30, 2019 – Rockets-Wizards high-scoring duel

James Harden went off for a then season-high 59 points while Bradley Beal finished with 46 points as the Rockets edged the Wizards 159-158. 

The total of 317 is the third-highest in NBA history for a game that ended in regulation. It was the first regulation game in nearly 30 years that both teams in a contest crossed the 150-point mark.

Nov. 1, 2019 – LeBron-Luka triple-double duel in Dallas

LeBron James (39-12-16) and Luka Doncic (31-13-15) became the oldest and youngest player in NBA history to record a 30-10-15 triple-double. 

James assisted on Danny Green's clutch overtime-forcing corner 3 before the Lakers outlasted the Mavericks comfortably in the extra period.

Nov. 23, 2019 – LaVine leads miraculous Bulls comback in Charlotte

The Bulls trailed by eight with 22.8 seconds to go in regulation but managed to go on an 8-2 run capped off by a near-buzzer-beating game-winning 3 by Zach LaVine. 

LaVine finished with a career-high 49 points while knocking down a career-high 13 3-pointers at a super-efficient clip of 76.5% – tied with Stephen Curry for the best single-game 3FG% in NBA history by anyone who took at least 15 3s.

He scored 27 in the fourth quarter, three short of franchise record set by Michael Jordan.

Dec. 3, 2019 – Spurs beat Rockets in 2OT despite Harden's 50

Behind a career-high 28 points from Lonnie Walker IV and clutch plays from DeMar DeRozan, the Spurs came back from 22 points down to defeat their in-state rival Houston Rockets in double-overtime despite a 50-piece by James Harden.

Dec. 17 & 19, 2019 – OKC record back-to-back 20-point comeback wins

Two games in three days the Oklahoma City Thunder fought back from 20-point deficits. 

Against the Bulls, Chris Paul scored 19 of his 30 points in the fourth quarter to help the Thunder come back from a 26-point second quarter deficit. This was tied for their largest comeback win in franchise history.

Hosting the Grizzlies just two nights later, the Thunder found themselves down by 24. But Dennis Schroder sparked the team off the bench, scoring 22 of his 31 points in the second half to help the franchise become the first team in 20 years to record consecutive comeback wins by margins of 24 or more.

Dec. 22, 2019 – Raptors come from 30 down vs. Mavericks

Outscoring the Mavericks 47-21, the Raptors flipped a 30-point deficit to record the largest comeback in franchise history and the NBA's biggest comeback in a decade. 

Kyle Lowry (10 assists, 8 rebounds) scored 20 of his 32 points in the fourth quarter while Chris Boucher recorded a career-high 21 points as Toronto pulled off a miracle at home despite missing key players like Pascal Siakam and Marc Gasol. 

Dec. 25, 2019 – 76ers blowout Bucks on Christmas Day

The Philadelphia 76ers knocked down a Christmas Day record 21 3-pointers to blowout the first-place Milwaukee Bucks, handing them their fifth loss of the season. 

Joel Embiid, who finished with 31 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists in 28 minutes, held reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo to just 8-for-27 shooting from the field in their duel. 

Dec. 28, 2019 – Thrilling end to 76ers-Heat in Miami

The Heat's late-game comeback run fueled by Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro was spoiled momentarily as Ben Simmons forced overtime with a clutch putback in the closing seconds. However, in the competitive extra period, the Heat outlasted the 76ers 9-8 to improve to 5-0 in overtime games for the season. 

Six 76ers finished in double figures led by Joel Embiid's 35 points and 11 rebounds while the Heat, who finished with seven players in double figures, were led by Jimmy Butler's near 25-point triple-double (9 rebounds, 9 assists).

Jan. 22, 2020 – Zion's NBA debut

The No. 1 pick of 2019 NBA Draft left his best for last on his debut. Zion Williamson finished with 22 points (8-11 FGs) in his first career NBA game but had the arena roaring during a 3-minute stretch in the fourth quarter when he scored 17 consecutive points.

He also recorded seven rebounds and three assists in just 18 minutes of play.

Jan. 31, 2020 – Lillard puts on a show in 1st game at STAPES since Kobe Bryant's passing

In the first game at the STAPLES Center since Kobe Bryant's passing, Damian Lillard put on a show.

He scored 23 points in the third quarter and finished with a near 48-point triple-double (10 assists, 9 rebounds) to lead the Trail Blazers to a 127-119 win on an emotional night.

Feb. 6, 2020 – Small-ball Rockets make debut vs. Lakers in a win

In their first game since going all in on small-ball, trading their centre Clint Capela before the mid-season trade deadline, the Houston Rockets were set to take on the Los Angeles Lakers and their formidable frontcourt size. 

The small-ball Rockets, led by Russell Westbrook's 41 points, knocked down 19 3-pointers and beat the Lakers in Los Angeles in an entertaining contest.

Feb. 13, 2020 – Celtics-Clippers 2OT showdown in Boston

Jayson Tatum scored a game-high 39 points and led the Celtics to victory in a neck-and-neck game against the contending Clippers. With this win, the Celtics improved to 7-1 when Tatum scores 30 or more. 

For the Clippers, Kawhi Leonard and Lou Williams combined for 63 points in the double-overtime duel. 

Feb. 25, 2020 – First LeBron-Zion showdown

His first matchup against Zion Williamson, brought out the best in LeBron James. He scored a season-high 40 points as he led the Lakers to a convincing 118-109 victory at the STAPLES Center against the Pelicans. 

The rookie had a pretty good game too, finishing with 29 points in 32 minutes. Not to mention, the plenty highlights he provided. 

March 5, 2020 – Steph's return game vs. Raptors

After missing 58 games with a broken left hand, Stephen Curry made his return when the Warriors hosted the defending champions. For his first game in nearly four months, the former MVP had multiple appearances on the highlight reel while helping the Warriors remain competitive till the end against the Raptors. 

He finished with 23 points, seven rebounds and six assists in 27 minutes of action but the Warriors lost 121-113.

March 8, 2020 – LeBron leads Lakers to first win vs. Clippers

In their two previous matchups with the Clippers, the Lakers came up short but as the stretch run to the playoffs inched closer, LeBron James meant business in their third clash.

Two days after helping the Lakers beat the first-place Bucks, he recorded a near triple-double (28p/9a/8r) and helped his team register the first win of their season series against the Clippers in a playoff-like atmosphere and intensity.
