The standout performance in the week came against the Rockets when the team was missing their starting backcourt of Gary Harris and Jamal Murray. He put out spectacular numbers of 31 points, 13 rebounds, and 9 assists on 12-of-15 shooting from the field.

This Player of the Week honour was Jokic's second of this season, after also receiving the honour for the opening week of the 2018-19 season. This announcement comes only a few days after the Serbian was named as an All-Star reserve, the first selection of his career.
Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks
The Greek Freak led the Milwaukee Bucks to a 3-0 record in the past week with wins coming against the Toronto Raptors, Detroit Pistons, and the Washington Wizards.
In these three games, he averaged 25.7 points, 9.0 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 2.7 steals on 51.0% shooting from the field.
The standout performance of the week came against the Detroit Pistons. Antetokounmpo tallied up 21 points, 11 assists, 8 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 blocks on 50.0% shooting from the field.
This Player of the Week honour was Antetokounmpo's sixth of this season, and his second consecutive. This announcement comes a week after after the Greek native was named as an All-Star captain in his third selection to the game.
