The Milwaukee Bucks today announced that All-Star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo will be out for at least two games due to a left knee injury.
An MRI has revealed a minor joint capsule sprain of Antetokounmpo's knee that was sustained in the Bucks loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. Despite sustaining that injury, Giannis finished the game with 32 points, 11 rebounds and six assists in 35 minutes.
Giannis sustained a left leg injury Friday night. He underwent an MRI and subsequent examination. The evaluation showed a minor joint capsule sprain of the left knee.

Per the team's official release, Antetokounmpo will not suit up when the Bucks close a three-game road trip with games against the Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets. The team will provide an update to Antetokounmpo's status once it returns to Milwaukee to host the Boston Celtics.
Over 57 games this season, the reigning MVP is averaging 29.6 points, 13.7 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 1.0 steals in 30.9 minutes.
The Bucks (53-10), who hold an 8.5 game lead for first place in the Eastern Conference, are 5-2 in seven games without Giannis this season.
