ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the New Orleans Pelicans have traded Anthony Davis to the Los Angeles Lakers for Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart and three first round picks, including the No. 4 overall pick in the upcoming 2019 NBA Draft.

The first round picks the Pelicans receive are as followed:

The unprotected pick swap in 2023 can be deferred to 2025 if the Pelicans have a better pick than the Lakers in '23.

Davis is eligible to sign a contract extension with the Lakers this offseason, but per Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes, Davis will play out the 2019-20 season and enter free agency next year.

With Davis and LeBron James teamed up, the Lakers – who still have one max contract spot – are expected to pursue Kemba Walker in free agency per the New York Times' Mark Stein.
