On Wednesday, LeBron James passed Wilt Chamberlain on the NBA's all-time scoring list with a 44-point performance in the Los Angeles Lakers' 126-117 win over the Portland Trail Blazers.

The 14-time All-Star now ranks fifth all-time in career scoring behind only Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Karl Malone and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

From one of his close friends in Chris Paul to one of his former teammates in Tristan Thompson, a number of NBA players congratulated LeBron on social media following his historic night.

LeBron is on pace to surpass Jordan at No. 4 on the all-time scoring list later this season and Kobe at No. 3 early next season.
