LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers cruised past the Washington Wizards at the Staples Center with an 18-point win, the team's largest margin of victory since Christmas Day.
The four-time league MVP was the star, putting up 23 points, 14 assists, and 7 rebounds on 11-of-20 shooting.

Four other players scored in double figures for the Lakers, with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope recording a team-high 29 on 10-of-17 shooting.
The team's offense was in full flow as they shot 53.9% (48-of-89) from the field while recording 37 assists on their 48 made field goals.

Meanwhile, the Wizards, who were playing their first game of their four-game road trip, suffered their fifth-straight defeat. Once again, it was All-Star Bradley Beal who was their star performer scoring 32 points on 10-of-19 shooting.
Despite being eliminated from playoff contention last Saturday (IST) after their loss to the Brooklyn Nets, this was a meaningful win for the Lakers.
This victory means the Lakers have registered back-to-back wins for the first time since March 17th.
All of the Lakers' remaining eight games are against playoff hopefuls, with four set to be played at home and four on the road.
